The Salisbury Building

he Salisbury Building, owned by the Salisbury Group, is located at 428 Park Avenue near the Bonneville County Courthouse in historic downtown Idaho Falls. The building has been home to the firm since it was established in 1973. The Salisbury family, namesake of the building and owner of it in earlier times, is still represented by the firm today. Early members of the family were area pioneers whose entrepreneurial spirit was instrumental in settling and developing a large swath of the intermountain west. Among other endeavors, they ran horse drawn stage and freight lines throughout the area, and homesteaded the historic Diamond D Ranch, a working cattle ranch on the shores Henry’s Lake near Yellowstone Park, which their descendants still own and operate today.
