TYSON N. RAYMOND
Tyson is an associate in the firm. He joined the firm in 2015. His practice includes both litigation and transactional work, focusing on the areas of real estate litigation and transaction, water law, public lands, environmental law, criminal defense, and general litigation.
Tyson was born in Idaho Falls in 1987. He grew up on his family’s farm in Menan, Idaho, where he learned to love Idaho. He is a 2005 Rigby High School graduate. He served a 2 year full time LDS Mission in Northern Spain. While in Northern Spain, he learned about the culture of many of the providences of Spain, including the Basque, who have had large impact on the history of Idaho.
Tyson has received Idaho POST certification as a reserve deputy and volunteered at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in Rigby. Between his undergraduate and graduate studies, he worked as a bailiff at the Jefferson County Courthouse. During his law school studies, he had the distinct honor of externing with two judges in the area, the Honorable Gregory Moeller of the Idaho 7th Judicial District and the Honorable N. Randy Smith of the United States 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Tyson and his wife Alisha are the proud parents of two daughters and two sons. They enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, swimming, and spending time as a family.
